Laura Thomas

Laura is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Sports Nutritionist from the International Society of Sports Nutrition. She is passionate about helping others achieve their nutritional goals one bite at a time.

Laura grew up in a military family in Maryland and played soccer competitively. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Education from UNCW and her master’s degree in Nutrition from Meredith College. She is a coach at Iron Tribe Fitness and the Founder of Grind Nutrition & Performance where she works with individuals to achieve their performance nutrition goals.

Laura has experience working with kids, teens, collegiate, masters, and adaptive athletes, as well as special operations soldiers, veterans, active military, and individuals just beginning their workout journey. Laura is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Sports Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition, and the Collegiate & Professional Sports Dietitians Association.
